Avon Retail has opened its first Morrisons Daily in Castleford, West Yorkshire – its largest franchise site to date. The 4,200 sq ft store sits on a newly built forecourt on the edge of town and is designed to serve both the growing local community and motorists passing through the busy M62 corridor.
The site is strategically located near two motorway junctions (J31 and J32) and includes 3,000 kW rapid chargers alongside a full Morrisons Daily convenience offer. It is also set to benefit from major housing growth in the area, with more than 600 new homes currently under construction and over £5 million invested in local development.

For Morrisons, the store marks another milestone in its fast-growing franchise network, which now numbers more than 700 sites nationwide.
