Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) has appointed An Vermeulen as vice president and general manager of its Great Britain business unit, as part of a wider shake-up of its executive leadership team effective from 1 May.

Vermeulen steps into the role having led the company’s public affairs, communications and sustainability (PACS) function, alongside supporting its France, Benelux and Nordics (FBN) business unit. Her experience across both central and market-facing roles, including previous exposure to Britain, is expected to support continued momentum in one of CCEP’s largest and most strategically important markets.

A successor to the chief PACS officer role is yet to be confirmed.

The GB appointment comes within a broader set of leadership changes designed to strengthen commercial capabilities and accelerate growth across CCEP’s 31 markets.

José Antonio Echeverria has been named vice president and general manager of the FBN business unit, extending his remit into multi-market commercial operations. He previously led the company’s global customer service and supply chain organisation for seven years, overseeing significant investment and operational development.

Stephen Moorhouse will take on the role of chief customer service and supply chain officer. The business said his mix of operational and commercial experience, including supply chain leadership across Europe and customer-facing roles in Britain and Northern Europe, positions him well to drive performance in the function.

Meanwhile, Leendert den Hollander has been appointed chief strategy officer, with a focus on accelerating the use of commercial technologies, data and artificial intelligence across the group. He will lead coordination of AI initiatives across functions, aiming to unlock new value through data-led insights.

Chief executive Damian Gammell said the appointments reinforce CCEP’s ability to deliver its growth ambitions while strengthening collaboration with partners.

“These changes strengthen our leadership capabilities and ensure we are well positioned for the future. They support our growth agenda, deepen collaboration with our partners and reinforce our commitment to innovation and performance across CCEP,” he said.
