Lyme Bay Winery expands Jack Ratt Mead range

Lyme Bay Winery is excited to announce the launch of two new mead flavours under its popular Jack Ratt Mead range in response to the increasing demand from consumers for more fruit-forward styles.

The Jack Ratt Mead range has long been celebrated for its unique yet traditional meads, and the addition of Apple Mead and Strawberry Mead perfectly complements the existing line-up, providing customers with several versatile options.

With 11% ABV, the Apple Mead features a classic bittersweet apple character on the nose, followed by a refreshing and sweet palate with delightful notes of toffee apple. Whether served chilled as an aperitif, at room temperature for a perfect pairing with charcuterie and cheese, or gently heated on cooler evenings for a warming treat, the Apple Mead promises a truly versatile and enjoyable experience.

The Strawberry Mead, also 11% ABV, is a tantalising aroma of fresh ripe berries, leading to a palate that is packed with sweet, macerated strawberries. Its well-balanced profile showcases fresh acidity and deep honey undertones. Whether served over ice, mixed into a refreshing cocktail, or savoured alongside a fruity dessert, the Strawberry Mead promises to elevate any occasion.

“At Lyme Bay Winery, we are always keen to listen to our customers’ preferences, and we have the demand for more fruit-forward meads increasing year on year.” said Managing Director James Lambert. “The Apple Mead and Strawberry Mead exemplify our commitment to innovation and delivering exceptional taste experiences. We are thrilled to introduce these new additions to our Jack Ratt Mead range and are confident that they will delight both our loyal customers and newcomers to the world of mead.”

The Apple Mead and Strawberry Mead are now available for purchase in 75cl bottles with RRP of £12.99 and come in elegant packaging that reflects the brand’s commitment to quality and tradition.
