SRSLY low carb broadens pizza appeal with meat-free offer

August sees SRSLY Low Carb broaden its pizza horizons with the launch of a MIGHTY Meat Free Feast a low carb proposition with three innovative additions that challenges the taste buds to differentiate from real meat.

The three meat free toppings include:

    1. Buffalo Chick’n Strips – using a combo of soy protein & spices, these tender strips are both spicy, and meaty.
    2. Vegeroni – made from the popular meat alternative jackfruit and some virtuoso seasoning.
    3. Chorizo-no Crumble –a generous scattering of vegan chorizo crumble which offers all the flavour of traditional chorizo.

Pizzas have become SRSLY’s undisputed product hero in recent years, coupling the business’s unrivalled low carb bready learnings with a steadfast commitment to never short-change in terms of taste

“It’s incredible when you think about it,” said SRSLY founder Andy Welch, “that we’ve taken such an indulgent snacking classic and giving it such a meaningful low carb spin.”

Like SRSLY’s Spicy Chicken offering before, SRSLY’s Meat-free feast is not only HFSS-friendly but high in fibre protein and low in sugar with zero palm oil. Most importantly, the latest pizza hero is less than 20g carbs.

“It’s also worth noting,” said Welch, “that pizza is very much our range hero when it comes to mushrooming export success, so the presence of a Meat-free is very timely with regards extending both our domestic and overseas appeal yet further.”
