Seven wholesalers sign up to new Sugro Insight Service ahead of launch

Ahead of the formal launch of Sugro Insight Service (SIS) in Summer, the wholesale buying group said they have already recruited seven members onto the data service, with more expected to engage with the platform shortly.

The new data service, powered by TWC, will provide a reliable read of the group’s sales performance to the head office team, its suppliers and members.

The seven members who have signed up to date are: BG Benton, Courtney & Nelson, Glencrest, RA Trading, R&I Jones, O’Reillys Wholesale and Taylor Wholesale.

“This project is an important part of Sugro’s digitalisation plan which we brought to life at our recent conference and trade show, where we unveiled our new fresh corporate branding,” Yulia Petitt, head of commercial & marketing at Sugro UK, said.

“The launch of Sugro Insight Service aligns perfectly with our values of Strength, Unity, Growth, Reliability and Opportunity.”

Shruti Senapati, business development manager at Sugro UK, added: “We are really pleased that seven members have already signed up to Sugro Insight Service, having only just announced our intention to launch the platform. We know there is great interest from suppliers for the data and we can’t wait to get started.”

Tanya Pepin, managing director, TWC said: “The member recruitment process has been remarkably straight forward so far and discussions with other members is ongoing, so we should be in a great position for launch in the summer.”
