    Jisp makes senior Marketing & Comms appointment

    Award-winning tech company Jisp has appointed experienced communications specialist Alex Rimmer to lead its marketing and communications functions.

    Alex, joins as head of communications and marketing bringing 25 years of industry experience in senior roles, having previously led Nisa’s PR & Communications team.

    He has been appointed to build and deliver the company’s new Marketing Communications strategy as the business sets its sights on ambitious growth plans in 2023 and beyond, particularly through the expansion of its Scan & Save solution.

    Alex’s time leading Nisa’s award-winning Communications team saw him build considerable knowledge of the retail and wholesale landscape and form valuable relationships within the sector as the business enjoyed unrivalled success through effective strategies and campaigns.

    “We are delighted to welcome Alex on board to help us formulate our new marketing communications strategy and to drive activity across these functions,” said Esther Lawrence, retail director at Jisp. “Alex brings an Incredible amount of knowledge and experience to the team and gives us greater focus in our marketing and communications as we look to take the business on to the next level.”

    When Jisp launched Scan & Save, not only did it bring a new product to market that benefitted shoppers, retailers, and suppliers alike, it also launched without asking anything in return from its retail partners and their customers.

    Jisp claims its loyalty rewards app is the only solution on the market which does not require investment from the retailer, bringing savings to shoppers through centrally negotiated discounts, while delivering Increased profits to participating retailers.

    Jisp stated that Rimmer’s appointment demonstrates a commitment to growing its offering to the retail and wholesale community and signals further developments for the business in the future.
