Kurkure teams up with independent retailer Bobby Singh to highlight festival opportunities

    Bobby Singh

Kurkure, the Asian-inspired snack brand from Walkers, has teamed up with independent retailer Bobby Singh, of BB Nevison Superstore & Post Office in Pontefract, West Yorkshire to discuss the importance of the Asian-inspired savoury snacking category in the convenience sector.

The collaboration comes after Kurkure revealed its latest research which highlights the importance of seasonal festivals, such as Diwali and Christmas, on the sales of savoury snacks. In fact, savoury snacks are one of the top-selling categories during these occasions, even before confectionery, cakes, and biscuits.

In the video, Bobby discusses the growing trend for Asian-inspired flavours. This supports Kurkure’s latest research, which also found that 22 per cent of retailers have noticed a rise in demand from customers for this segment.
