Heineken UK announces new People Director

Heineken UK has announced the appointment of Marta Martins Pinto as its new People Director.

Pinto joins from SCC-Heineken Portugal where she has been HR Director since 2019, having joined the OpCo in 2015. She will be based in London and lead Heineken UK’s people strategy which includes leadership and transformation capabilities, inclusion and diversity, and health and wellbeing for colleagues.

“Marta has an incredible track record of developing talent and managing change, and we are delighted she is joining the UK management team,” Lawson Mountstevens, interim managing director, Heineken UK, said.

“She will be leading the people agenda for Heineken UK at an incredibly important time as we emerge from the crisis of the last two years. I also want to thank Jane for her dedication and significant achievements over the last seven years and congratulate her on her new global role at Heineken.”

Pinto joined Heineken from Burberry, the luxury goods company, and previously held HR roles in aviation (NetJets) as well as several consultancies across Europe.

She succeeds Jane Brydon, who has been promoted to People Director for Global Functions and Finance, Heineken NRV, based in Amsterdam.
