Scottish Grocers’ Federation (SGF) has announced a new partnership with eXpresso PLUS, an independent coffee to go company.

Providing commercial coffee vending machines across the UK, eXpresso PLUS specialises in bringing premium brands, such as Lavazza, Nescafe, Thorntons and Batchelors to the market.

“eXpresso PLUS are proud to announce we have joined the Scottish Grocer’s Federation framework as their only coffee to go supplier,” commented Mark Bedding, head of operations at the firm.

“Our Lavazza to go solutions have always had a strong presence in the convenience and retail sectors in Scotland, so joining the SGF framework was the most intuitive next move. As a new Partner we look forward to building new relationships with Scottish retailers and bringing premium brands to the drinks to go market, to deliver high quality products to consumers on the go.”

Pete Cheema, SGF chief executive, said: “We are delighted to welcome eXpresso PLUS into the Federation. Drinks to go is now an essential offering provided by convenience retailers for their customers, who now more than ever want choice, quality and a tailored offering which appeals to them. The premium drinks to go range available from eXpresso PLUS is sure to appeal to customers throughout the convenience sector. We look forward to a long and successful partnership.”
