Exciting new soft drink flavours are fast becoming the treat of choice for today’s shoppers. Fortunately for you, GB’s number one lemon and lime brand1, 7UP®, has your store covered. Launching its first piece of product innovation since 2020, 7UP® Pink Lemonade landed into the convenience channel in May and has already seen great success as an appealing alternative for those seeking no-sugar options without compromising on taste or refreshment.

The new launch aims to help you make the most of the growing demand for popular new flavours, which has accounted for 35% of growth in the flavoured carbonates category2 over the last three years.



Unlocking the power of pink…lemonade

When popular flavours meet a creative, fun execution, soft drink sales can skyrocket. So, to celebrate the launch within the impulse channel, 7UP® joined forces with five retailers across the UK. This included decorating their stores with eye catching Point Of Sale (POS) displays, on-theme decor and shelves stocked with the fresh new fizz.

But it didn’t just stop at vibrant splashes of pink in store. Shoppers were offered tasters in branded sampling cups so they could be among the first to try the new 7UP® Pink Lemonade firsthand.

Nishi Patel, owner of Londis Eltham, comments: “It’s all about the next big soft drink flavours with our shoppers these days, so hosting one of the celebratory activations for 7UP®’s new Pink Lemonade flavour was a complete hit for our store. From the moment shoppers arrived outside, they were drawn to the vibrant displays and couldn’t resist trying the new product, so the whole activation really brought an incredible energy. We saw great consumer engagement and an uptick in sales of the product, reflecting just how fun and impactful in-store theatre can be.”
