After running their family business in Wellbank, Dundee for several years, independent retailers Mariam and Samar Hayat have decided to join Spar Scotland.
The family owners have been running the 1200 sq. ft store at 2 Mattocks Road for the last three years, but have recently invested heavily to refit their new store which will offer Paypoint and Lotto as well as Food-to-Go options F’Real milkshakes and Tango Ice Blast.
“We are very much looking forward to opening this new store in the community of Wellbank and surrounding areas,” Mariam and Samar said.
“We have run the local shop for three years but are so excited about the much wider range of products and services the brand new shop will offer, and the fantastic range and promotions from Spar.”
Spar Wellbank is located close to the warehouse and distribution centre for Dundee based CJ Lang & Son Ltd, the wholesaler for SPAR Scotland
