Voopoo has launched its new ARGUS G4 and ARGUS G4 mini vaping devices, featuring what the company claims is the industry’s first adjustable-resistance cartridge system.
The new ARGUS Multi-Ohm Cartridge allows users to switch between different resistance levels within a single cartridge, removing the need to swap pods when changing between e-liquid types.
According to the company, the cartridge uses multi-core electrode technology and is designed to support both nicotine salt and freebase e-liquids across multiple resistance settings.
The ARGUS G4 offers adjustable resistance options of 0.4Ω, 0.7Ω and 1.0Ω, with a maximum output of 35W, while the smaller ARGUS G4 mini supports 0.7Ω and 1.0Ω settings up to 30W.
The cartridge also incorporates Voopoo’s iCOSM CODE 2.0 technology and is compatible with previous devices across the ARGUS range, allowing existing users to use the new cartridge without replacing their devices.
Both new devices feature upgraded 1650mAh batteries. The ARGUS G4 supports 5V/2A fast charging, which the company said can deliver up to five days of use from a 45-minute charge, while the G4 mini supports 5V/1.5A charging.
The ARGUS G4 includes a 0.85-inch HD display, while the G4 mini uses an LED light strip to indicate battery status. Both devices also feature stepless airflow adjustment to allow users to customise the draw experience.
Voopoo said the devices adopt a new “Minimal-Tech Style” design, with the G4 mini weighing 65g and both models available in eight colours.
