Unitas rewards Parfetts with charity donation in compliance incentive scheme

    A Parfetts depot

Unitas Wholesale has donated £500 to Type 1 Families, a South Tees Diabetes UK charity, on behalf of member, AG Parfetts, as part of a compliance incentive scheme.

The incentive, aimed to highlight the importance of Picture Portal, will see Unitas Wholesale reward one member with a donation to a charity of their choosing, plus a personal prize for the winning depot’s Optimisation Champion.

Joe Tindle from the AG Parfetts Middlesbrough depot was selected as the Optimisation Champion incentive winner for June. In addition to the £500 donation, Tindle has earned himself a £100 Amazon gift card for consistently submitting high quality images that include effective off-shelf displays featuring Unitas Wholesale Mega Deal Plus promotions.

Picture Portal is a tool used to capture real time examples of promotional execution and activation across the Unitas Wholesale membership. Members submit images each promotional period via a dedicated point of contact in each depot, known as an Optimisation Champion, and these images are shared with suppliers on a regular basis to demonstrate effective levels of compliance.

In return members benefit from enhanced bonus incentives as part of the groups ‘More 4 More’ rewards programme.

Type 1 Families is a parent run support group set up to help the families of children and young people with Type 1 Diabetes.

John Kinney, Unitas managing director, said: “It’s fantastic that we can make this charity donation on behalf of our member AG Parfetts as a reward for the excellent support they have demonstrated in promotional execution in depot, all part of the Unitas Wholesale ‘More 4 More’ initiative.”
