Supreme PLC has secured a new Bestway Wholesale listing for its Typhoo Gold tea range as it continues to expand distribution of the heritage brand following its acquisition.
The new wholesale listing sees Bestway add a 1,100-teabag catering pack to its Typhoo Gold range, alongside the existing 80 Tea Bag price-marked pack, giving independent retailers and foodservice customers access to a broader choice of formats.
The move forms part of Supreme's wider strategy to grow the Typhoo brand through expanded retail and wholesale distribution. Alongside the Bestway listing, Typhoo Gold 80 Tea Bags have also secured new listings in Morrisons stores nationwide and through Ocado.
Supreme said the enlarged Bestway range will help meet demand from independent retailers as well as cafés, hospitality venues, caterers, workplaces and other high-volume tea buyers seeking a premium tea offering.
Produced using Rainforest Alliance Certified tea and packed in the UK, Typhoo Gold is positioned as a premium black tea combining quality with value.
The latest listings are part of Supreme's ongoing investment in Typhoo, which it acquired in 2024, as the company looks to strengthen the brand's presence across grocery, wholesale and foodservice channels.
The company said it is continuing to invest in manufacturing, packaging and supply chain capabilities to support nationwide distribution while building stronger partnerships with retail and wholesale customers.
Supreme added that its long-term growth strategy for Typhoo focuses on expanding retail distribution, strengthening wholesale partnerships, investing in product quality and increasing the brand's availability across both grocery and foodservice.
With more than 120 years of heritage, Typhoo remains one of Britain's best-known tea brands. Supreme said the latest Bestway, Morrisons and Ocado listings will make Typhoo Gold more widely available to consumers while creating new opportunities for retailers and trade customers.
