Treasury Wine Estates receives UK ‘great place to work’ certification

Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) has been certified as a “great place to work”.

Great Place to Work UK has certified the company for its ongoing work to build an inclusive and progressive workplace environment that helps its people to shine.

Speaking about the certification, Tony Watson, General Manager at Treasury Wine Estates, said the company was “extremely proud to have been recognised for its supportive culture that empowers its team members to bring their whole selves and be courageous at work”.

Watson said: “We place our people at the heart of everything we do and are dedicated to cultivating an environment that fosters inclusion, diversity and equal opportunity. We whole-heartedly believe we’re able to achieve great things within the wine industry, through our world-class wine making, innovation and commitment to sustainability, but all this starts with our people rolling up their sleeves to make great things happen.”

Treasury Wine Estates is defined by the “TWE DNA”, a company cultural code that guides everyone’s experience of working at the company and creates an environment where people can thrive and achieve a collective ambition.

Dedicated committees support employees across many areas including corporate and social responsibility, health and wellness, wine and culture and fun and social. Inclusion, diversity and equal opportunities are supported through dedicated workplace communities that foster a sense of belonging:

    • TWE PRIDE for LGBTQI+ community
    • TWE for SHE for females and non-binary community
    • TWE MOSAIC for cultural diverse community
    • TWE ENABLE for disabled and neurodivergent community

As part of its investment in its team members, the company also welcomes flexible working and champions a ‘Find Your Flex’ policy. This policy encourages people to be themselves and utilise flexible working hours to feel they are valued regardless of how they work or live their lives, helping to cultivate an environment that fosters inclusion, diversity and equal opportunity.

“We are delighted to have been recognised as a ‘great place to work’ in the UK. This achievement is a testament to all our team members and their focus on building our fantastic culture right across the business,” Watson concluded. “Congratulations to you all!”
