- Retailers can expect an 85%* sales uplift ahead of the biggest EuroMillions jackpot since early December
- Draw coincides with BAFTAs weekend, with National Lottery-funded films up for multiple awards
National Lottery operator Allwyn is rallying retailers ahead of tonight’s (20 February) estimated £113 million EuroMillions Super Jackpot – the largest EuroMillions top prize on offer since 9 December 2025. With excitement building nationwide, stores are expected to see a strong increase in customer footfall as players rush to get their tickets before the 7.30pm cut-off.
With an expected 85 per cent* uplift in EuroMillions sales, the boosted draw offers a significant commercial opportunity for retailers and a chance for customers to dream big about what a £113m win could mean for them, their loved ones, and the communities they care about.
Allwyn has distributed a dedicated POS campaign kit to tens of thousands of National Lottery retailers, including window posters, pop-up standees, and PlayStation tax discs and wings. The Super Jackpot is also being showcased across in-store digital screens and supported by wider advertising.
The draw also lands on the same weekend as the BAFTA Film Awards (22 February) – a big moment for National Lottery players, whose support helps fund UK filmmaking talent through the British Film Institute (BFI). Several National Lottery-funded titles have secured key nominations this year.
“The fantastic EuroMillions £113 million Super Jackpot presents a brilliant opportunity for National Lottery retailers, who can expect a strong lift in footfall and sales activity throughout this week," said Allwyn’s Retail Revenue & Customer Director, Alison Acquaye-Acford. "Our POS campaign kit is designed to help stores make the most of the excitement and drive player engagement.
“By selling National Lottery tickets, our retail partners aren’t just giving customers the chance to win big — they’re also helping support UK creativity. For over three decades, The National Lottery has helped bring more than 600 films to life, and the BAFTAs are a brilliant reminder of the impact players make in raising £32 million every week for Good Causes across the UK.”
