A shop worker of a convenience store in Derbyshire suffered head injuries during a robbery on Tuesday (12).
According to local reports, police were called to Select Convenience, in Stanton Road, Sandiacre, Derbyshire at around 8pm last night on Tuesday. At the scene a man had been detained by members of the public and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of robbery.
The man, who is in 30s, remains in police custody at this time.
The shop worker, who was attacked, was taken to hospital with injuries to her head and face. Police believe that she has not suffered any serious injuries.
