SPAR brand has entered into the savoury biscuit market with the launch of three new own label lines.
The range includes Breadsticks, Salt & Pepper Crackers and Rosemary Crackers, each priced at £1.
“Biscuits add a huge contribution to store sales and we know this move into own label savoury snacking biscuits represents a new opportunity for SPAR stores,” commented Bhavika Thakrar, senior brand manager at SPAR UK.
“Savoury biscuits are chosen as an easy-to-prepare snack and our new range of SPAR savoury biscuits are perfect for snacking and use with dips.”
The retailer said its total own label biscuit category has grown by 7 per cent in the past year.
The launch will be supported with SPAR Radio, in-store POS, merchandising guide, digital & social media.
