SPAR launches 4-pack Blue Bear energy drink

SPAR UK is driving further growth in its popular Blue Bear energy drink range with the launch of a new four-pack format, now available in participating SPAR stores across the UK.

The move represents SPAR’s first entry into the take-home energy segment, expanding the reach of its successful own label range and tapping into growing consumer demand for multipack options in the energy drinks category.


In the 52 weeks to June 2025, the total energy drinks market has continued to grow, with branded unit sales up 3.9 per cent year-on-year and private label outperforming brands with 6.7 per cent YOY growth. SPAR’s expansion into the multipack format aligns with this market trend, giving SPAR retailers a fresh opportunity to capture value-conscious shoppers who are increasingly looking for affordable take-home choices.

“Launching our first take-home Blue Bear 4-pack gives us a real opportunity to grow our share of the energy drinks market. It’s a format that responds directly to shopper demand for great-value, take-home options and one we know will deliver for our retailers.
