During August and September, customers were invited to take part in a "Show Us Your Sandwich" competition which ran on SPAR North of England’s social media accounts, attracting photos of delicious breakfast, brunch and lunch creations.

Tiffany Hodgson’s eye-catching entry of a bacon, lettuce and tomato salad sandwich won her the monetary equivalent of a Warburtons 800g Toastie and a four-pint bottle of SPAR milk every week for the next year.


SPAR North of England’s Price Locked campaign is an ongoing drive to deliver value to its customers, and it features hundreds of key products with long-term fixed prices on. It includes daily essentials like milk, bread, frozen food, other fresh and ambient necessities, and alcohol.

Tiffany, who lives in Scarborough and is a regular at SPAR Falsgrave Road, said: “I made my sandwich appear as mouthwatering as it could and then took photos of it in different parts of the house for the best backdrop and for the perfect light! I was pleased with the result, and I am delighted to have won.
