Snappy Group, the technology business behind Snappy Shopper and Hungrrr, has appointed Vineta Bajaj, recently appointed Group CFO at Holland & Barrett and former senior executive at Ocado Group, to its board as a Non-Executive Director.
The appointment comes as the UK high street undergoes a structural shift, consumers are demandingmore value, flexibility and local support - not simply fast delivery.

Bajaj will join Snappy Group’s board immediately, strengthening its leadership team, which includesillustrious industry veteran Justin King CBE, former CEO of Sainsbury’s.
Over the past 12 months, Snappy Group has accelerated development of retail technology designed togive retailers the same digital advantage as major grocers, without the high fees.
Recent launches include:- Order aggregation technology, enabling retailers to manage orders from Just Eat, Deliveroo, UberEats, FoodHub and more through one system- Google Shopping integrations, helping local shops appear where customers are already searching- 24/7 delivery capabilities, unlocking additional revenue streams for retailers who want to expandtrading hours.
Over 100 retailers on Snappy Shopper generate £1M+ in GMV as demand for convenience ecommercecontinues to grow.Market forecasts predict 11.4m UK quick-commerce users by 2030, with penetration rising from 11.9 per cent in 2025 to 16per cent by 2030 (niq) but Bajaj says “speed alone won’t win.”

Vineta Bajaj brings significant experience in online grocery, M&A and international growth. At OcadoGroup she played a pivotal role in global expansion and major capital raises totalling nearly $2bn.
At Rohlik Group she helped double revenues past $1bn while overseeing strategic investment andtransformation.
