A supermarket in Slough has been raided by a gang of masked robbers on Saturday (12). During the incident, the store’s security guard was threatened and held down by the back of his neck by the robbers armed with crowbars.
According to local reports, the robbery happened at the Co-op store on Twist Way at around 9.25pm when three men, all wearing masks, entered and ran towards the tills.
One of the men threatened a security guard with a crowbar and held him down by the back of his neck, said Thames Valley police, while the other two men used crowbars to remove cash containers.
The men then ran out of the store and drove off in a silver Vauxhall Astra northbound along Wentworth Avenue.
The security guard was not injured.
The first man was wearing an orange flourescent hi-vis sleeve jacket, orange gloves, dark trousers and grey shoes. The second wore a black hooded coat, glove, grey trousers and black shoes.
The third was wearing a black jacket with white sleeves with a grey top underneath, black trousers and blue and white trainers, said the reports.
