Cash rewards app *shopt, used by more than 21,000 convenience retailers across the UK, has unveiled its biggest app update so far, introducing a completely refreshed user experience. The new look and functionality has been rolled out to help users access rewards faster, increase engagement with participating brands and maximise earnings.
To celebrate the launch as well as *shopt's eighth birthday, it will be running its "Lucky 8 Ball Prize Draw" where eight winners will win £50 cash each from 30 June until 31 July.
Since launching in 2018, *shopt has helped retailers earn more than £10 million in cash rewards, with users earning an average of £100 per month.
“Convenience retailers are busier than ever, so making reward opportunities simple to access and manage is key, which is why this *shopt update represents a major investment in the retailer experience,” said Alexa Hester, Director at *shopt. “This is our biggest app update to date, making it easier than ever for retailers to discover relevant offers, track earnings and unlock greater value from the app.”
New features include smarter offer filters, improved wallet visibility, simplified store management and dedicated brand pages, creating a seamless and intuitive experience. The updated homepage now provides a clearer view of earnings, available rewards and upcoming pay-outs, while new filters make it easier to find relevant opportunities, including rewards that are new, ending soon or gaining popularity. Retailers can also pin offers they don't want to miss, helping them prioritise rewards most relevant to their businesses.
The new experience also introduces a dedicated brands section, allowing retailers to explore participating brands in more detail.
