In reference of the recent recognition, Manek said, “First and foremost, I would like to thank God for his never-ending grace during what ended up being one of the toughest journeys in my career. I am humbled and appreciative for this recognition.
“This accomplishment is not something that I did alone, there are many others who have been instrumental in helping me to achieve this award. I would like to thank my family and my team for their endless love, encouragement and support and I am truly grateful for all you have done.”
After spending 13 years in investment banking, Manek embarked on his entrepreneurial journey with the launch of Sandea Wholesale which he established at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite the market presenting challenges during that period, Manek reportedly seized the opportunity to start trading successfully.
Alongside running the business, Manek reportedly also uses his resources to actively contribute towards charitable causes based in Tanzania, like supporting students with disabilities to learn alongside other children in the classroom and providing cancer-struck children with free care.
