Rubicon Raw drives energy sales with first GB snowsport on-pack promotion

Rubicon RAW is launching the ultimate snowsports prize on pack offer, celebrating its continued partnership with GB Snowsport and the beginning of their winter season.

From 1 October, shoppers will have the chance to win “The Ultimate Snowsport Experience”, including a snowsport lesson with a GB athlete, a week’s skiing holiday in Switzerland, plus £1,000 cash.

“We’re so excited that Rubicon RAW is The Official Energy Drink of GB Snowsport, reaching millions of snowsports fans across the UK,” said Jonathan Kemp, Commercial Director at Barr Soft Drinks. “As part of our partnership, we are driving awareness and excitement with consumers shopping the energy drinks fixture and there’s no better way to kick off the snowsport season than with an unmissable offer like this.

“We know around a third of Rubicon RAW sales come from new entrants into energy, so we’re confident that this fantastic competition will help retailers continue driving those incremental sales.”

The energy drinks market remains one of the most profitable for retailers and Rubicon RAW has quickly established itself as a must-stock brand within it. Selling more than 35 million cans since launch, it’s become the second most successful innovation launch within soft drinks.

The special packs, featuring GB Snowsport athlete and reigning Team Snowboard Cross World Champion Charlotte Bankes, will be running on more than two million cans, across all plain and price marked 500ml packs and some 4x500ml multipacks, until the end of November.

Impactful point of sale material will be available to create in store theatre and drive incremental sales.
