Power up your store with Britvic: win £1,000 towards store energy bills

Britvic is offering five lucky retailers the chance to win £1,000 each towards their energy bills this year, alongside a bespoke planogram for their store to help power up their soft drink sales*. The additional support comes as exclusive Britvic research, conducted in collaboration with ACS, reveals that over half of the retailers surveyed expressed concern about rising energy bills.

This aligns perfectly with Britvic’s mission to showcase the strength of its on-the-go portfolio, including household brands, such as Tango, Pepsi, and Lipton Iced Tea, which have contributed to the eight per cent growth in the Britvic on-the-go drinks portfolio over the last year. Retailers can enter the draw by visiting Britvic’s At Your Convenience website, registering or signing in and completing a short form to win.

Recognising the pressures many stores face during the current cost of living crisis, Britvic is lending a helping hand. In fact, ACS research shows us that 85 per cent of the retailers surveyed had experienced an increase in energy costs in the past six months, so with this competition, Britvic can support retailers where it makes the most difference.

The demand for on-the-go soft drinks has increased, which is evident by the 57 per cent of people who had purchased soft drinks and said it was the main reason they went to the store, and the category shows no signs of slowing down. In addition, 34 per cent of shoppers will go without or elsewhere if they’re not happy with the to-go drinks available. The power of stocking the right range is therefore key. Britvic can support retailers with an unmissable core range, wider category advice and exclusive point-of-sale materials to make it a success in-store. The competition is also designed to inspire a wider audience of retailers as winners showcase positive results from using bespoke planograms and stocking the recommended range.

Stocking various brands and formats is a great way for retailers to cater to different consumer demands. Britvic’s on-the-go range includes popular brands like Pepsi MAX, Rockstar Energy, Tango, Lipton Ice Tea, and Robinsons Ready to Drink, providing a convenient, one-stop shop for retailers stocking their chillers.

“We’re supporting retailers by powering up their stores alongside powering up their sales with our on-the-go range,” said Ben Parker, commercial director. “We understand the pressures retailers continue to face with the increasing cost of doing business, so we must support the heart of many people’s communities and give back to retailers in ways that can truly make a difference. In fact, the ACS research shows that all the respondents surveyed were interested in financial assistance from brands and suppliers. We will continue offering our unrivalled advice and support, making the soft drinks category successful nationwide with our well-loved brands.”

To enter the competition, retailers must log in or sign up for Britvic’s At Your Convenience platform and fill out the form by 4 April 2024 to enter the competition*. Registered users can benefit from advice, insights, product trials, and point of sale kits to help retailers maximise instant consumption opportunities.
