Pots & Co. desserts moves to glass pots alongside brand refresh

Handmade dessert company, Pots & Co., is moving its entire ceramic range into premium glass pots that are 100 per cent recyclable and 100 per cent reusable as part of its commitment to the long-term sustainability of the brand and category.

The change has been driven by increasing consumer demand for brands to switch to more sustainable packaging. The switch is also helping to reduce production costs, and therefore minimising the rising costs of ingredients being passed onto consumers without compromising on the quality and flavours of the puddings, allowing the company to decrease the RRP of individual pots.

The glass pot is also being launched alongside a new sleeve design for the desserts, helping to highlight the premium desserts USPs on shelf to consumers. The updated packing design showcases how every Pots & Co. recipe been written by top restaurant and Michelin trained chefs, using finest ingredients. Every dessert includes no artificial ingredients or preservatives, and it is hand made at the Pots & Co. kitchens in London, giving consumers access to restaurant quality products at home.

“When we started Pots & Co., we committed to not only make exceptional restaurant-quality desserts for people to enjoy at home, but to also ensure that we were doing right by the environment we live in,” said Joint-CEO Fraser Thomson. “Our ceramic pots will always have a place in the history of our brand, but now is the right time to make our delicious pots in glass – 100 per cent recyclable, 100 per cent reusable, and still 100 per cent divine.”

The Pots & Co. range includes indulgent and rich flavour combinations, including Lemon & Lime Posset, Salted Caramel and Chocolate Ganache, and Summer Berries and Mascarpone Cream. It also extends to plant-based flavours such as Passion Fruit & Banana Posset and Salted Caramel and Chocolate Ganache – recently winning Great Taste awards.

The pots are available to buy in wholesalers Cotswold Fayre, Cress & Co, Booker and convenience now.
