Plant-based brand Oddlygood enters UK market

Global plant-based brand Oddlygood has entered the UK market with its growing range of plant-based food and drinks.

Oddlygood’s product family includes oat drinks, gurts, desserts, cheese shreds and cooking & baking products, all fully dairy- and gluten-free.

The Dreamy oat desserts hit the shelves at Morrisons this month, in both lemon and caramel flavour. The smooth ready-to-eat desserts are packed with irresistible flavour and are 100% plant-based and gluten-free, making them suitable for vegans, flexitarians and anyone hungry for something delicious.

“The food we eat is one of the biggest game changers when it comes to both the wellbeing of our planet and our bodies. But the world will not change fast enough if good food doesn’t taste good enough. That is why we exist to make products with great taste and no compromises,” Nina Gillsvik, Global CMO at Oddlygood, said.

“’Oddly good!’ was the reaction from one foodie when he first tried our oat-based Gurt, so we chose our name as a constant reminder of how surprisingly delicious a plant-based food experience shall be.”

The launch is much anticipated following success across Europe and in the US. The brand said it also has plans to expand into the UK wholesale channel.

Founded 2018, Oddlygood is a spinoff of Valio, one of Finland’s premier food companies.
