Pladis Americas Welcomes New Leadership in 2025

pladis, the global snacking company behind brands like GODIVA, Flipz, and Turtles, has announced a leadership transition in its Americas division.

Carlos Canals, currently Managing Director of pladis Americas, will step into a newly created global role as Chief Business Development Officer. As he transitions to this position, Jeremy Faa, a seasoned CPG executive with over three decades of experience, will take over as Managing Director, pladis Americas, effective May 1.


Faa’s career spans major names in the food and beverage sector, most notably a long tenure at Coca-Cola, where he most recently served as President, North America (South Zone). He has also held advisory and consultancy roles, including at the technology venture capital fund BridgeTech.

Headquartered in White Plains, NY, and employing around 600 people, pladis Americas operates two manufacturing facilities in New York and Pennsylvania.

The company continues to grow its presence in the North American market with a portfolio that includes iconic global brands like McVitie’s, GODIVA, and Carr’s, along with beloved US regional favorites such as Flipz and Turtles.
