Peperami, the UKās leading meat snacking brand, has announced a major partnership with Doritos to launch a limited-edition Peperami x Doritos BBQ Sweet Tang range, arriving this month.
The move brings together two of the UKās most recognisable and culturally bold snacking brands to inject new energy into the fast-growing meat snacks category, which has doubled in value over the past five years to more than Ā£335m.
Demand for protein snacks continues to surge, with one in five UK households now seeking out protein-rich options and more shoppers buying meat snacks more often. Protein-packed Peperami has been central to this growth, combining real meat protein with bold flavour and unmistakable personality.
The brand has risen more than 7% in the past year, sells over £145m annually, and reaches one in five households, with significant headroom for further expansion, particularly among young adults seeking convenient, tasty, filling snacks for at-home and on-the-go moments.
The new collaboration brings Doritosā fastest growing flavour in the UK to Peperamiās iconic sticks range, which already accounts for 37% of category sales.
The limited-edition flavour is expected to attract young adult shoppers into the brand, while strengthening Peperamiās relevance across a wide range of snacking occasions, from work breaks and TV nights to travelling, outdoor activities and pre-dinner grazing.
At the heart of the partnership is the bold new BBQ Sweet Tang flavour, rolling out across three Peperami formats. The launch heroes the brandās bestselling sticks range and offers retailers a strong opportunity to drive incremental sales through a familiar yet distinctive flavour profile.
