One Stop has expanded Robinsons Fruit Ice drinks to its company-owned stores across the UK after a successful trial in over 20 stores.
The self-service machines sell both orange and apple & blackcurrant flavours at £1.50 a cup, or £2 for two. Drinks are dispensed through a unique Robinsons Ice Freezer Unit with a fresh, grown-up design and a twin-bowl offering the two flavours.
The retailer claimed that the new machines are more energy efficient when compared to its predecessors and expected to save around £250,000 a year in total energy costs for One Stop, therefore lowering carbon emissions.
Robinsons Fruit Ice is part of a well-loved brand founded in 1934 which is bought by nearly half of all UK households. The new Fruit Ice drink has no added sugar and real fruit in every drop.
“Robinsons is such a popular and recognised brand and we know our customers will be delighted to see it in our stores. We know that customers love the machines as they’re a real treat for them in store. The ice drinks are incredibly refreshing and the no added sugar makes them a heathier choice,” Jonny McQuarrie, One Stop’s managing director, said.
