    Ombar joins global B-Corp movement

    Ombar

Vegan chocolate challenger brand Ombar is proud to announce that it has become the latest company in the UK to obtain its B Corporation certification.

The brand, which was founded 15 years ago, has been built on the belief that we should be treating the planet, the people who live on it, and the food it creates, with respect. The B Corp accreditation marks the next step in the Ombar mission – to change the way the world sees chocolate, making it healthier, more ethically-produced and more sustainable.

Richard, Founder of Ombar says “We are so proud of our B Corp certification. Ombar Oat M’lk was born from our desire to have a positive impact in the face of the immense challenges of climate change and environmental collapse.

“We’re a small chocolate company with a desire to make a big difference; and we believe that small actions can add up to a big impact. B Corp has helped us to bring all these positive things together under one ethical certification and it’s wonderful to belong to an international network of organisations that use business as a force for good in the world.

“B Corp has given this growing movement both a road map for how to navigate the path to being a better business as well as a stamp that people can quickly recognise to find brands that are working for positive change. We are going to continue learning and evolving on this journey, to make a positive future for the people and planet”.

Alongside likeminded, forward-thinking companies Ombar joins the B Corp network, working together to create a global economy that benefits all people, communities and the planet
