Frozen foods major Nomad Foods Limited has Thursday announced the appointment of Justin Billingsley as chief marketing officer, strengthening its executive team and reinforcing the company’s focus on sustainable growth across its european brands and markets.
Billingsley, who will report directly to chief executive officer, Dominic Brisby, joins with immediate effect to lead a strengthened and more unified marketing function spanning brand and portfolio strategy, communications, research & development and innovation.
With more than 30 years’ experience, balanced between brand leadership and marketing services leadership roles, he brings significant global marketing leadership experience, with a track record of building brands, accelerating innovation and leading high-performing teams within complex, consumer-driven organisations, the Birds Eye maker said.
“Justin’s deep marketing expertise and brand leadership capabilities will be instrumental as we continue to build a more powerful, unified set of brands across Europe,” Brisby said. “His experience will be critical in accelerating our growth agenda and strengthening our connection with consumers across all markets. I am absolutely delighted to welcome him to Nomad Foods.”
The announcement builds on Nomad Foods’ recent leadership developments, including the appointment of Jon Fernandez de Barrena as president, Southern Europe, who joined the company in April and Simon Ball as president, UK & Ireland, appointed in March.
