Nisa serving up a £5 midweek meal this Chinese New Year

Nisa’s annual Chinese New Year promotional event is here, providing shoppers with a range of deals to get their claws into ahead of the Year of the Tiger celebrations.

With the Lunar New Year being celebrated on February 1 this year, Nisa is providing partners with an Asian-inspired Midweek Meal solution to drive footfall in stores and increase sales.

“Occasions like Chinese Lunar New Year are all about friends and family gathering around the dinner table and therefore they present a fantastic opportunity for partners to drive sales in what is otherwise a fairly quiet time of year”, said Darren Hamilton, Wholesale Category Controller at Nisa.

Shoppers can whip up a speedy stir-fry for less with some Co-op core ingredients; Co-op Thighs and Drumsticks 1kg, a choice of Co-op Stir-fry Sauce 150g, Co-op Egg or Rice Noodles 250g, and Co-op Mixed Vegetable or Mushroom Stir Fry 320g, all for just £5.

“Convenience is a main channel for the evening meal mission so we’re encouraging partners to inspire their shoppers this month with the great value Midweek Meal offering and accompanying eye-catching POS,” added Hamilton.

Deals are available in stores between 26 th January and 15 th February.
