Industry charity NewstrAid is inviting colleagues, friends and supporters from across the newspaper and magazine sector to come together for its annual Carol Service at St Bride's Church, Fleet Street, London, on Monday 30 November 2026.
The popular festive event, which takes place at 6.45pm, will feature a programme of seasonal readings and traditional Christmas carols performed by the renowned St Bride's Choir, offering an opportunity for people from across the industry to celebrate the season while supporting a worthwhile cause.
Following the service, guests are invited to continue the festivities with wine, seasonal refreshments and a Christmas raffle in the neighbouring Bridewell Hall.
The annual gathering provides an opportunity for industry colleagues, past and present, to reconnect while raising funds and awareness for NewstrAid, which provides financial, emotional and practical support to people who work, or have previously worked, in the sale and distribution of newspapers and magazines across the UK.
"Our annual Carol Service is always a special occasion and a wonderful opportunity to bring people from across the newspaper and magazine industry together in the run-up to Christmas," said Neil Jagger, Chief Executive of NewstrAid. "St Bride's provides a beautiful setting for the evening, and we are very grateful to the choir, our generous sponsors and everyone who supports the event.
As well as being an enjoyable way to celebrate the festive season with colleagues and friends, the service helps us raise awareness of NewstrAid and the support we provide to people from our industry who are facing difficult circumstances. We hope as many people as possible will join us."
Tickets for the service cost £20 per person, with a concessionary rate of £15 for those aged 65 and over. Children under 12 can attend free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult.
