    New freezables from American candy brand Jolly Rancher  

    Leading confectionery distributor World of Sweets has expanded its American confectionery range with new freezables from Jolly Rancher.

    World of Sweets will be introducing a new range of ice pops from the iconic US brand for customers to enjoy throughout the summer months.

    Jolly Rancher brand is the leading hard candy brand in the US, well known for its bold, fruit flavours, with its reputation making it a sought after and trusted American product range.

    The latest product added to the range are the Jolly Rancher Ice Pops which come in the brand’s four most popular flavours including Blue Raspberry, Green Apple, Cherry and Watermelon.

    These can be bought by consumers as on the go singles, retailing at just 20p, making them a great value summer product.

    Jolly Rancher brand is popular among UK confectionery consumers and those globally. They’re the second best selling American Candy bag in the UK [IRI, Latest 52 weeks Aug 23], growing year on year by over five per cent. The brand makes annual sales of around $331 million.

    The target shoppers are adults and children who love the exciting flavours, with blue raspberry being the second best selling flavour format in the UK.

    “Now is a great time to be launching these freezable to customers in the UK with summer about to begin,” Kathryn Hague, Head of Marketing at World of Sweets, said.

    “They offer exceptional value as singles – just 20p – making them a great impulse buy and one parents won’t mind paying out for. Children will love these and the flavours. As will teens and adults who have grown up with Jolly Rancher confectionery.

     “For retailers, adding this freezable will bring your customers a tasty, low cost treat from an American brand they already trust and enjoy.”
