    New campaign offering cash prizes drives sales for Cono Sur

    Chilean wine brand Cono Sur has been enjoying great response to its latest campaign which notched up its 50,000th participant this week.

    The ‘Chill & Win’ campaign, offering a range of cash prizes, has already seen its top prize of £10,000 being claimed.

    With five £1000 prizes still available, the brand expects sales to soar even further.

    “We’re thrilled with the response to this campaign. 50,000 entries is well ahead of our predictions,” commented Heather Jones, Cono Sur marketing manager in the UK.

    The promotional Bicicleta bottles (RRP: £7.50) have a peel-off feature with a competition code which purchasers can enter into a dedicated website. Besides the top prize of 10,000, claimed by a shopper in Poole in Dorset, five of the ten possible prizes of £1,000 have also been claimed till date.

    The Chill & Win labels feature on thousands of Bicicleta Pinot Noir, Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc bottles. The campaign continues this summer whilst stocks last.

    Cono Sur has recently launched a pair of Organic wines into UK retail.
