Nestlé Cereals is expanding its breakfast portfolio with the launch of a new Nesquik Strawberry cereal, bringing the brand’s long-established milkshake flavour into the cereal aisle for the first time.

Rolling out this April, the product will debut in Morrisons and Sainsbury’s before a wider nationwide distribution.

The launch marks the first time the strawberry variant of Nesquik has been translated into a cereal format in the UK, despite the flavour being part of the brand’s portfolio since 1957. The new product aims to tap into consumer nostalgia while delivering a more playful breakfast experience, with the cereal designed to turn milk pink.

Alongside its novelty appeal, the cereal has been positioned with a focus on nutritional credentials, featuring whole grain as its main ingredient, high fibre content, and added vitamins and iron, with no artificial colours or flavours.

Sarah Fordy, head of marketing at Nestlé Cereals UK, said the launch builds on more than six decades of Nesquik Strawberry heritage while responding to demand for greater variety at breakfast.

“For families, it brings a new breakfast choice made with whole grains, high in fibre, and enriched with seven vitamins plus iron, all with the fun twist of turning your milk pink. Our aim has been to offer even more variety at breakfast while staying true to the playful spirit the Nesquik brand is known for,” she said.

Nesquik Strawberry cereal is recommended to be enjoyed as part of a balanced breakfast, alongside fruit, a source of protein and a glass of milk or water.
