Morrisons launches 2026 roadshows for franchise retailers

  • Morrisons is inviting its franchise retailers to attend a series of manufacturing roadshows at its Myton Food Group sites across the UK
  • The first roadshow was held at Myton Food Group Flower World on Wednesday 26 November

Morrisons has kicked off a series of roadshows to help its franchise retailers gain a greater understanding of its business, its heritage and its connection with British farming.

The roadshows aim to broaden Morrisons franchise retailer’s knowledge of Morrisons heritage, its 125+ years of shopkeeping expertise and its unique links to British farming thanks to its strategic partnership with Myton Food Group.

Myton Food Group has 18 sites across the UK where it processes fresh meats and fish, savoury and sweet pies, fruit and veg, bread and much more resulting in Morrisons proudly being British farming’s single biggest direct customer.

On 26 November, Morrisons invited its franchise customers to visit Myton Food Group Flower World in Derby where Morrisons fresh flowers and bouquets are produced. Guests were able to tour the site and see the extensive Christmas flower range being prepared, including the hand-tied bouquets, and had the opportunity to make their own creations. The day also included a business update and round table collaboration and discussions.

The next manufacturing roadshow is set to take place at the beginning of March at the Myton Food Group Chippendale site, which is the egg-grading facility and also at the Myton Food Group Flaxby site, which is a fresh produce packing facility for carrots and potatoes. Invitations will be sent to customers early in the new year. The roadshows will take place ahead of the Annual Morrisons Retailer Conference on 20th May 2026.

All of the roadshows will take place over two days – with one day dedicated to existing franchise retailers and one day for new prospects that want to find out more about the Morrisons Daily model and find out more about the Morrisons franchise proposition and the added bonus of experiencing one of Morrisons USPs, visiting a manufacturing site.

“We are really excited to kick off the series of roadshows for our retail franchisees, and also any new prospects that are interested in finding out more about our Morrisons Daily model,” said Katharine Challinor, Head of Retail for Franchise at Morrisons. “The first roadshow at Myton Food Group Flower World was a great success and we will look forward to inviting our new and prospective franchise partners to Myton Food Group Chippendale and Flaxby in March.”
