Scottish parliament has honoured a leading retail software solution, celebrating the company’s outstanding achievement in delivering state-of-the-art POS systems that "significantly enhance productivity and profitability for retailers".
Stephanie Callaghan MSP presented the official motion to highlight MHouse UK's commitment to delivering cutting-edge POS solutions that empower over 1,500 retailers across the UK.
" The Parliament congratulates MHouse Business Solutions Ltd, based in Motherwell, on winning Lanarkshire’s Innovation Business at the 2025 Lanarkshire Business Excellence Awards," stated the motion presented by Callaghan.
The motion added that the Scottish parliament celebrates what it sees as the company’s outstanding achievement in delivering state-of-the-art POS systems that significantly enhance productivity and profitability for retailers and believes that the award stands as a testament to the business's exceptional innovation, creativity and dynamism.
".....applauds all the inspiring entrants and winners from across Lanarkshire, including MHouse Business Solutions Ltd founders, Asif Ashraf and Faisal Sattar, whose entrepreneurial efforts, it believes, continue to significantly contribute to the local economy," stated the motion.
The motion was supported by Karen Adam, Jeremy Balfour, Miles Briggs, Sharon Dowey, Annabelle Ewing, Kenneth Gibson, Emma Harper, Bill Kidd, and more.

According to Sattar, the signals a deeper focus on customer experience new tiered pricing structure and each new tier offers tailored benefits ranging from advanced AI features to priority support and extended hardware protection, designed to match the operational complexity and goals of different types of convenience retailers.
