Spanish Fine Foods firm, Mevalco, has unveiled a stunning, premium-quality new Retail range designed to capture the imagination of retailers and consumers alike. From the heart of Spain to independent retailers’ shelves, this dynamic collection brings together the flavours, stories, and soul of Spanish gastronomy – beautifully packaged and available in formats developed especially for Retail.

Already trusted by top chefs and the UK’s leading restaurants, Mevalco’s expansion into Retail is a natural evolution. The range includes a vibrant selection of artisan cheeses, such as world-class farmhouse varieties that are leading a Spanish cheese revolution – including the acclaimed Olavidia, crowned World’s Best Cheese in 2021. There’s also a standout offering of seafood specialities, from delicately cooked Octopus legs to exquisitely preserved tinned fish and Cantabrian anchovies – alongside regional gems from the Rockfish collection.

A wide variety of olives, pickles, and preserved vegetables bring colour and character to the shelves, including hand-picked guindillas, caramelised peppers, and rich, roasted tomato purée. These are joined by standout pantry staples, from first-harvest Nova Picual olive oil and refined sherry and red vinegars to crunchy sourdough picos and premium pulses and nuts.

Mevalco’s rice selection is equally exceptional, with polished grains from Spain’s most prestigious growing regions, including Japónica, Dinamita and Montoro Valencia DOP. A partnership with Rooftop Smokehouse brings a unique twist to the range, with smoky delicacies like piparras, anchovies in smoked butter, and beer mustard adding layers of complexity.

For ready-to-serve solutions, the collection includes classic Tarta de Santiago, rich Basque cheesecakes, and an irresistible selection of Spanish croquetas, crafted with flavours like boletus, squid & aioli, cod, piquillo pepper and Ibérico ham.
