Snappy Shopper has announced a strategic partnership with Empros Retail, formally appointing the fast growing digital marketing specialist as its preferred marketing partner for retailers across the UK.

The agreement brings together two industry leaders with an ambition to provide independent and group convenience retailers with the digital tools needed to compete in a market where digital visibility is now essential.


Having worked closely since 2023, the partnership formalises a relationship that has already delivered measurable results for stores nationwide, combining Snappy Shopper’s market leading home delivery platform with Empros Retail’s data driven social media and performance marketing expertise.

Competing in a digital first market

Independent retailers are operating in one of the most competitive environments the sector has faced in decades. While delivery has rapidly become an expectation rather than a luxury, many stores still lack the marketing support to fully capitalise on that demand.

For Empros Retail Director Fraser MacDonald, 2026 marks a defining moment: “There are two things that are super important for retailers right now,” he said. “One is getting online and utilising digital marketing. The second is offering fast, reliable home delivery.

“Snappy Shopper is the industry leader in convenience delivery and we’re leading in digital marketing for the sector. Our partnership just makes sense.”

From collaboration to strategic alignment

Founded in 2020, Empros has grown rapidly, reporting 400% growth between 2024 and 2025 and now employing a dozen staff from its Edinburgh based headquarters. Originally operating as a broader marketing agency, the retail division evolved following its initial collaboration with Snappy Shopper to support stores in driving delivery sales through social media.

Led by Fraser and brothers Jamie and Ross Lile, Empros Retail is well known for their hands-on approach working directly with store owners to understand audiences and build authentic community audiences.

The agency was widely praised by retailers at Q-Commerce Delivered 2025, powered by Snappy Shopper, and will return as a speaker at the 2026 event, reflecting its growing influence within the sector.

  • Campaigns delivering up to 25x return on ad spend (ROAS) - for every £1 spent on advertising, up to £25 in tracked sales generated
  • Over £10,000 in tracked sales generated from ad budgets under £500 within a 30-day period

Girish Jeeva of Girish’s Premier said: “From November to December [2025], with return on ad spend further increasing, the growth we saw was huge. The results were clear, and the value it brought during a key trading period really showed. Working with Empros has made a real impact for us.”

Daniall Nadeem of Spar Motherwell Road added: “Our goal has been simple. Shout about what we do best, drive more traffic into the store and build awareness of our Snappy Shopper home delivery service. In just 30 days [June], we’ve grown our online sales by 30% and weekly in-store sales by 20%. Visibility and awareness have been key to that success.”

Supporting the modern convenience store

For Snappy Shopper, the partnership represents a broader strategy to strengthen the support for its retailer network.

Under the agreement, Empros Retail will operate as Snappy Shopper’s preferred marketing partner. Two core packages are available to Snappy Shopper retailers: a Community Essentials package focused on building local audiences and engagement, and a Sales Growth package leveraging live pixel tracking and customer retargeting to maximise return on ad spend.
