    Mermaid Gin makes splash with Wavelength Media partnership

    Mermaid Gin, distilled at the Isle of Wight Distillery has announced it is the official partner of the upcoming Wavelength Spring Classic. With a focus on sustainability at the core of the Spring Classic Festival, Mermaid Gin is seen as the perfect partner, given their own ethos around sustainability and protecting the environment.

    The three-day festival, the first of its kind, runs from the 27th-30th May at Woolacombe Bay, on the North Devon coastline. During the three days, surfing, live music, skating, nature and ride culture will be brought together to enjoy the free-spirited freedom of the Spring Classic.     The partnership is the first in a series of activations this year between Mermaid Gin and Wavelength, who are also the title sponsor of the new female-focussed and -produced podcast launching this spring. The podcast, edited by the Wavelength women’s editor Sophie Everard, will look to run a series of episodes focused around female-led storytelling from the surfing community.

    Mermaid Gin will also be partnering with Wavelength on the second Blue Earth Summit, a two-day sustainability focused event. The event runs from the 11th-13th October in Bristol and attendees will gain an insight into making positive changes at work and in life, be it navigating the pitfalls of greenwashing, debunking the BCorp process or through harnessing the power of self-belief.
