Mars Drinks & Treats (MD&T) is expanding its hot chocolate portfolio with new festive dual sachets, building on the successful introduction of the innovative format earlier this year. The dual sachets bring high‑street coffee shop trends to an accessible at‑home format.
The Galaxy Hot Chocolate Festive dual sachet has received a festive makeover with three character variants. It is joined by two new launches: Maltesers Hot Chocolate Festive dual sachet, Maltesers Hot Chocolate paired with mini marshmallows and gingerbread men sprinkles, and Galaxy Millionaire Crumble Hot Chocolate dual sachet, Galaxy Caramel Flavour hot chocolate paired with chocolate drops and biscuit pieces.
The launches follow a strong year for the total food beverages category, comprising hot chocolate, cocoa and malted drinks, which has grown 4.9% and is worth £231.4 million. The MD&T hot chocolate range represents 23% of the hot chocolate market, with Galaxy branded products making up 77.6% of the range’s sales.

Also launching this month are new festive designs for Galaxy Instant 370g jar and 25g sachets, the UK's number one instant hot chocolate. RRP: £3.75 (370g) and £0.40 (25g).
