Premium mānuka honey from long-established New Zealand company, Taylor Pass Honey Co, is now available in the UK.
The product is initially available to the trade through CLF Distribution.
Taylor Pass Honey said it is currently working with dedicated brand ambassadors who are visiting leading independent stores nationwide to provide information on the fast-growing honey category, explain the wellness and immunity benefits of mānuka, provide in-store POS, and deliver free product samples.

The company added that it is well positioned ahead of its rollout into the speciality food retail sector later this year having achieved three stars in the 2022 Great Taste Awards. The prestigious accreditation from the Guild of Fine Foods awarded its highest accolade to Taylor Pass Monofloral Mānuka UMF 5+ Honey with Taylor Pass Mānuka Multifloral Honey awarded one star.
“Taylor Pass Monofloral Mānuka UMF 5+ Honey was the only New Zealand honey to win three stars in this year’s Great Taste Awards and the fact that three stars are only given to the top 1 per cent of all products being judged is serious confirmation of the product’s quality,” Rebecca Margetts, general manager (sales and marketing) at Taylor Pass Honey, commented.

Taylor Pass Honey Co, located in the Marlborough region of New Zealand, was established over 21 years ago. The company said its honey is sourced from hives with sustainable beekeeping practices at their core to maintain the fragile balance of the region’s natural ecosystem.
