ManiLife peanut butter wins more Great Taste Awards

ManiLife, the most “Great Taste”-awarded peanut butter brand, has been awarded the coveted Great Taste 3-star for two of its products in the 2022 Great Taste Awards; the Deep Roast Smooth Peanut Butter and the new Rich Cocoa Smooth. It now holds three three Star Great Taste Star products.

Defined as “extraordinarily tasty food & drink” by over 20 expert palates, just 241 products out of 14,205 entries around the world were awarded a Great Taste 3-star, the highest possible accolade.

Now, its Deep Roast Smooth Peanut Butter has made it to the final 36, shortlisted for The Golden Fork Award, dubbed “the Oscars of the food world”.

This award, which 36 of the highest scoring Great Taste products are shortlisted for, celebrates the best produce from a range of categories. ManiLife’s Deep Roast Smooth Peanut Butter is the only Peanut Butter in the running for the Supreme Champion, beating the likes of competitors Pip & Nut and Whole Earth.

“We know we make peanut butter like no other, so to have two more products win 3 Great Taste stars AND have one nominated for a Golden Fork Award is phenomenal,” said Founder Stu Macdonald. “It’s a wee nod to our mission of elevating peanut butter to new heights, highlighting craft similar to the levels of coffee.

“This award is testament to the care and expertise that goes into our ingredient sourcing and producing every single jar. With a Great Taste Award for five out of six of our products under our belt, we think this shows that we make officially, the tastiest peanut butter in the world!”

Though production volume has increased substantially to over 60 tons a month, the peanut butter is still made in small batches, with ManiLife currently producing over 2,000 small batches per month.
