    LWC Drinks announces acquisition

Drinks wholesaler LWC Drinks has announced the successful acquisition of Hills Prospect PLC, the leading independent drinks distributor in London and the South East.

LWC Drinks, which is considered as UK’s largest independent wholesale distributor of wines, spirits, beers, ciders and soft drinks, made the formal announcement today (8).

“This move is a significant step forward in our unwavering commitment to providing the very best service to our valued customers, no matter where they are. Our new partnership with Hills Prospect combines our unique strengths and expertise, to create an even more robust service proposition for our customers across London and the South East. Together, we’re redefining excellence in the world of drinks distribution,” stated the wholesaler on social media.

The acquisition of Hills Prospect will mark LWC’s 18th site in the UK and follows the recent openings of two new LWC depots to serve London and the South East – LWC Aylesbury and LWC Andover – and a third in the North, LWC Doncaster.

Ebrahim Mukadam, Managing Director at LWC Drinks, commented: “We are delighted to be welcoming the fantastic Hills Prospect to the LWC family. Having built up an incredible reputation for service and knowledge over the last forty years, Hills Prospect have garnered a real stronghold over the London market.

“We see this partnership as a superb opportunity for both businesses to combine skills, shared knowledge, network, and strength to offer customers in the region a service like no other, and we can’t wait to get started.

“Hills Prospect has earned itself a very well-established and extremely loyal customer base, as such, it is also important to note that the company will continue to operate and trade under its own name and will see no interruption to the incredible service it offers its customers,” reports quote Mukadam as saying.
