National Lottery retailer Mahendra Patel, who owns Mike’s News in London, plans to take his family on holiday after winning the £10,000 top prize in Camelot’s latest Site, Stock, Sell online quarterly draw.
“The money will make a big difference to our lives,” said Mahendra. “We’re already planning to treat our two boys to a family holiday.”
“When I found out that I’d won £10,000, I honestly couldn’t believe it,” he continued. “We’re always taking part in the National Lottery Retailer Hub online events – it’s really easy to use and gives us the chance to win, which this time we did!”
There were also 10 second prizes of £1,000 handed out by Camelot to retailers who maintained high in-store standards during the quarter.
The £1,000 winners are:
- Gareth Pidgeon of Brooklands Convenience in Ballymoney

Jasbir Mann said, “I was overwhelmed when I found out I’d won – it was so hard to believe, but I was ecstatic at the news. The money will make life a bit easier, and I can take the family out to a posh restaurant, and go to park and treat the kids to ice creams.”
Shantilal Patel commented, “We have a surprise holiday booked next week which was organised by our sons, and they haven’t even told us where we’re going yet. This will be great spending money to make the holiday extra special.”
Camelot Retail Director, Jenny Blogg, said, “Congratulations to this quarter’s Site, Stock, Sell winners – and thank you for your fantastic work. All independent National Lottery retailers have the chance to be entered into these prize draws – so if you aren’t already signed up to the National Lottery Retailer Hub, sign up today to find out how to get involved.”
