Lancashire Tea launches blue-badged Decaf blend

The growing Lancashire Tea brand has introduced a Decaf blend of its popular brew. The iconic map of Lancashire remains on pack, but the red rose sits proudly on a blue background to denote the caffeine-free offering.

The new blend is available in boxes of 80 fully biodegradable tea bags (250g). The foil wrap is also suitable for council food waste bins and the outer carton is fully recyclable.

The tea in this, and the original full-hit blend, is sourced from Rainforest Alliance Certified Farms.

“Customers have been asking for a Decaf version of our popular brew for some time and we have listened,” said Phil Toms, Head of Marketing for Lancashire Tea.

“The new packaging retains the popular Lancashire map but is badged in a bright blue for on-shelf standout and brand recognition. Our tea tasters have tested and tweaked and we’re very proud to add this to the range.”
