    Knife-wielding robber makes off with cash from Frome store

    Officers have appealed for witnesses following a robbery at a convenience store in Frome, Somerset.

    The incident that happened at about 12.30pm on 14 February saw a man threatening staff with a knife, before fleeing with the cash from the shop in Vallis Way.

    No one has been reported injured, the Avon and Somerset Police said, adding that enquiries, including reviewing CCTV in the area, are ongoing.

    The man is described as approximately 35-40 years old and was wearing a black raincoat, black trousers, sports sunglasses a white mask and disposable gloves. He also had a pair of grey trainers on, with white soles, and was seen walking with a distinctive gait.
